Moderator Megan Stevens is a single mom of three living in Bedford, Virginia. You can read her story here, since we made her one of our “Single Moms We Love.” She founded a local group in Bedford called Single Mothers Unite.
Moderator Channon Booth is a divorced, single mom with a seven-year-old daughter. They are currently living in Canton, OH. Channon was a key coordinator and founding member of The Park Slope Single Parents Group in Brooklyn, NY and is in the process of developing a similar organization in her new community. She has been raising her daughter in a single parent household for the past 3 years and has orchestrated an amicable and functional parenting agreement with her daughter’s father, who lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Moderator Erik Ness was widowed 7 years ago, four years after his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. His kids are now 14 and 16. They live in Madison, Wisconsin. Erik is also a Singlewith contributing writer.
